Nadine Samaroo
M.Ed., RP
Registered Psychotherapist
Nadine is a Registered Psychotherapist, with an Honours B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from Carleton University. She has recently graduated (June 2024) from the University of Ottawa with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Nadine has experience supporting individuals through life challenges which include depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, eating disorders, relationship conflicts, and developmental trauma. Her therapeutic style is integrative— including emotion-focused, compassion-focused and cognitive behavioural approaches. Her work is grounded in a client-centered approach— that emphasizes self-actualization.
“My first priority with my clients is to create a safe space where they feel unconditionally supported. Within this environment, it becomes easier for individuals to be vulnerable with themselves about what they want to change in their lives. I strive to help people feel more comfortable in the discomfort of facing their innermost struggles, emotions, and desires. Through our work together, I wish to collaborate with you to create goals, build resilience, and become the version of yourself that you strive to be.”
