Iris is a Social Worker at Stradwick Psychology & Neurofeedback Clinic. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Carleton University where she focused on youth mental health. She has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
Iris has been a strong advocate for child and youth mental health throughout her life, including through individual and group therapy. As a counselor, Iris has experience supporting clients with a wide variety of challenges including ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, chronic illness, exploration of sexuality/gender identity, and life changes.
Her approach is client-led and solution focused, empowering clients to make positive changes in their lives. She believes in a holistic approach that looks at all elements of a client’s life, and creates a unique treatment plan for the individual needs of each client.
