Fen is a Registered Psychotherapist at the Stradwick Psychology & Neurofeedback Clinic. She is also a Registered Art Therapist, with a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. After completing her studies, she continued her work in Brooklyn, New York, where she provided psychotherapy to marginalized communities, integrating art as a tool for healing and understanding.
Fen’s approach is rooted in empathy, cross-cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the diverse needs of her clients. She specializes in tailoring treatment plans to each person’s unique needs, ensuring that every session is meaningful and intentional. Her experience spans psychiatric outpatient settings and includes extensive work with individuals of all ages, particularly focusing on children and young adolescents.
Fen is dedicated to working with children and families dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, trauma, and individuals from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. She has a proven track record of success planning art therapy and mindfulness programs in school settings, where she fosters emotional growth and resilience through a supportive, inclusive environment.
Using an integrative approach, Fen combines a variety of therapeutic modalities—some including art psychotherapy, psychodynamic therapy, person-centered therapy, CBT, and DBT. Her goal is to provide each client with the necessary support to facilitate healing, self-reflection, and personal growth. Fen meets her clients where they are, guiding them through the process of self-exploration and helping them discover the most effective path forward.
Fen is deeply committed to creating safe, supportive spaces for both individuals and groups. She works closely with families to cultivate sustainable, collaborative relationships that promote growth, healing, and resilience. Fen believes in the innate desire within every individual to feel better, connect with others, and thrive. She welcomes clients from all stages and experiences of life, offering a compassionate space for them to explore what emotional well-being looks like for them. Fen can also provide sessions in both English and Mandarin.
