MACP (Cand.)

Counselling Intern

Falyn is a Counselling Intern at Stradwick Psychology & Neurofeedback Clinic. She is currently completing her Masters of Counselling in Psychology. Falyn’s background includes a Bachelor of Social Work and an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Care, which together provide her with a strong foundation in child development, mental health, and family systems. She has worked with individuals experiencing depression and anxiety, as well as those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and global developmental delays.

Falyn is committed to offering compassionate, evidence-based support to children, youth, and adults. Her approach is collaborative, client-centred, and strengths-focused. Falyn believes that every individual has the capacity for growth, and she will work alongside clients to build practical skills in a supportive and encouraging way. She frequently incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into her sessions, supporting individuals in building psychological flexibility, challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, and taking meaningful actions.

Above all, Falyn strives to create a safe, non-judgmental, and genuine therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, heard, and understood.
